Expo a Big Success!
Our 1st Reed City Area Chamber of Commerce Business Expo was a rousing success. Including visitors and participants, over 600 attendid this showcase of area businesses held at the Reed City High School on Friday, Novmber 5.
The first hour of the Expo was open to the registrants only for socializing and networking. From 6-8 p.m. it was open to the public. The atmostphere was festive as each participating business provided prizes which were raffled off by Larry Emig and Kathy Yost during the evening. Businesses also had giveaways at their table and in some instances, sold their goods.
Entertainment was provided by Willow Skye Robinson and food available by Alice's Restaurant, Downtown Deli and Ice Cream, Nestle Inn and Girl Scout Troop #1677. The event was broadcast live by Y-102.
Attendees were given a raffle ticket, a program containing advertisements of participating businesses, a survey and a bag to hold their goodies.
Survey results indicated that the event was extremely popular and should be held again next year.
We will be back next year - bigger and better!
